This Sketch Box necklace has a single small box pendant hung on sterling silver Venetian box chain. The pendant is fine silver with 23.5ct gold fused to the surface using the ancient Korean technique, Keum Bo, meaning ‘gold applied’. A permanent molecular bond is achieved using heat and hand applied pressure. The shadow illusion is created by hand-painting a solution that oxidises the surface of the silver to a lustrous black.
The box is 14mm x 14mm and the overall length of the necklace is 50mm. Model is 5’ 4” and UK size 10/12.

The sterling silver chain is manufactured by a family company in Shropshire, England. The pendant bears my Maker’s mark.
