Think, make, work metal in the landscape…

With a minimum of one and a maximum of three places on each day, you’ll have plenty of individual attention to enable you to make the most of our day together.

Larger groups by arrangement.

  • Assemble, process, gather...

I’ll ask you to bring along some objects to inform our process and we’ll use these, or items from the studio to direct your day. What you produce will inform the metal we prepare to take with us to the beach.

  • Work, linger, wonder...

On the beach you’ll experiment with metal off-cuts and work on your piece. I’ll be on hand to advise. We’ll linger a while to look at what you’ve achieved and to make sure we’re finished with our beach-based tool kit.

  • Focus, refine, conclude...

Back in the studio, we’ll work together to refine your object or amulet. We’ll reflect upon the direction you took and photograph your piece together with elements from the initial process at the beginning of the day.
