Gifted and Found pendant is my latest addition to Jewel Narratives.

I found the pearl in the street a couple of decades ago. The piece of fulgurite, made when lightening strikes sand, was collected whilst in the Egyptian desert for my 40th birthday, longer than my son’s lifetime ago. The bright silk compliments the vintage coral cabochon that my partner (now husband) gave me shortly after I first started making jewellery in 1988. It contrasts with the opal prised from the grip of a Koala pin that my lovely Dad bought back from Australia for me when I was a teenager. I found the tiny shard of white crystal on the same trip to Egypt where we slept out in the desert under the stars.

I am so happy that Jewel Narratives has brought these treasured objects and sentimental jewels out of boxes at the back of drawers and in to the light where the narrative may continue.

If you would like to work with me to bring your own sentimental, odd, broken or unworn jewellery, or tiny treasures in to the limelight, please dig them out and get in touch. We can arrange a meeting online or in person so that you can show me what you would like in your own Jewel Narratives.
